happy birthday dad!

today is my dad's birthday! he's 50... wow how elementary school forced journal was that?! so lately i've been working a lot and hanging out with friends. I had my first shift as front end supervisor on monday and it actually went quite well. other than that nothing new is happening in my life... i went to london the other day with michelle and emily. I also went to london with ema and maika one day. Both filled with very funny things. So just for you guys i'm going to finish the rest of my list of things that you probably don't know about me... let's see if ican make it to 100!

42 things i hope you don't know about me....
I....

-pick the WORST movies
-love abstract art
-love using short forms for things when i speak (i.e brb) but just as a joke.
- have one of the weirdest senses of humour you will ever come across
-sometimes i need ema there to get my jokes
-am allergic to cats yet have two
-wished i had curly hair
-think bars of soap are so gross
-invented that razor that has a bar of soap built on to it
-have a wallpaper border of pez despensers in my basement (around 2500 annnd counting)
-am worried that when i go away to school i won't make any friends
-kinda love teeny bopper movies
-don't understand how peoples hair can smell so nice.. because mine fades once it dries
-am worried im not going to catch on to the whole university thing
-can usually read anyone i meet on almost all acounts
-still buy penny candies
-am constantly doubted on my age... ie people thinking im older than i am
-am only 17
-have posters of breakfast club and sixteen candles in my room
-have a very VERY small room
-am a band geek
-have been in about 7 plays
-hate science
-sometimes think that no one "Gets me"
-drive a sweet volvo
-can actually be incredibly shy and sometimes never talk around new people
-don't make friends well
-feel terrible whenever i have to cancel plans with someone because i think they'll hate me
-am insecure like that
-love DQ
-hate mimes... they give me the creeps
-have never had eaten a shiskabob
-don't worry about spelling because it has been my experience that society today will still get the point you're trying to convey even without using proper grammar... or english for that fact.
-can recite almost every line from the breakfast club
-know all the words to every nsync song
-hate fake people... a lot
-hate people who try to convince everyone they're cool. or act like they are when they really aren't
-hate self-ritious people
-hate a lot of people
-have almost no upper body strength
-used to horse back ride.....religiously
-enjoy pushing the envelope with certain things some ebing with people in my life to see if they'll stand it and others being putting 43 things on here instead of 42 ... hehe

well there ya go 100 things about me! oh wow i wonder if i could do 200... well i'll save that for a while yet when i am slightly more interesting! ne ways off to bed because i have a full day tomorrow consisting of going to the eye doctor and working ladida! night!

58 things that most of you probably don't know about me... or if you do well feel special

I....
-Go by my middle name because well i actually have no idea
- am named for both my grandmothers and a shortened version of my mother's name because they thought i was going to be the only girl of the family
- have a restraining order against one of my grandmothers
-love the 80's and anything to go with them
-hate responsibilities
-have peter pan syndrome because of it (i never want to grow up)
-often consider myself to be very stupid and question my intelligence constantly
-am put on a pedestal by my parents to be the shining light in the family
-am considered the favourite child by other two siblings
-consider myself to be the least liked child
-constantly feud with my parents about everything
-guess i have teenage angst.
-wish i had a better relationship with my sister, even though i find her too annoying to be with
-can't say no.... ever...and become bitter because of it
-i hate scary movies and can't watch them without getting nightmares
-can't hold my tongue
-often find my self rambling and see people getting annoyed/bored yet keep going
-find humour in areas that don't usually have any
-am an over-achiever
-really don't know what i'm about to do for the rest of my life
-love music... it brings joy to my life
-love aimlessly driving around singing so loudly that people on the outside of the car can hear us!
-love doing random things and really weird stuff
-am proud of who i have for friends
-am proud of being in French immersion
-wish i could have an actual relationship but know i am too shy and too selfish to have one
-am a huge homebody and love hanging out with my mom and watching movies all night
-am slightly OCD and terrified of change and have to actually sit down for a couple hours a think about what's changing and how it's going to affect me
-sometimes think about not going to university and attending lambton college just because of this
-Have a disease and have no idea the extremes of it and i have still not come to terms with it and i probably never will.
-get extremely upset over letter to the editors that i need to vent usually to my mom but sometimes to who ever is around
-love fast food
-hate being taken advantage of more than anything, yet constantly allow it to happen because i don't want people to hate me
-try to help everyone with everything but get insecure when i need help that no one will be there
-am very self conscious and my feeling are often easily hurt
-used to want to be an artist but when i realized i had no talent decided to write
-can't write poetry yet still continue to painfully try to
-am terrified of ghosts
-hate being home alone
-love robots and cats and i am not ashamed to admit it
-don't have any grand fathers
-remember almost every person i meet and their name even if they don't remember me
-cried more about my cat passing away than i did for my friend when she passed away
-don't handle death well
-laugh very loudly and usually people can tell who it is by my laugh
-can't fall asleep without something distracting me (ie the tv)
-LOVE seasons on dvd
-love living life to the fullest even on my down days
-cry a lot for other people
-throw up if something i eat or drink doesn't taste good but then feel completely fine
-am lactose-intolerant
-wish i would do more volunteer work
-have been followed twice in my car by creepy men
-get scared very easily... it's almost sad
-LOVE days in which people dress up and don't care what others think (spirit day, Halloween, Canada day etc)
-cry while watching almost every movie even if it isn't sad
-sometimes feel like i'll never live up to the goals that i set for my self yet i don't want to lower them because i want the ones that i have now


well there you go maybe i'll do 42 more to complete the 100 ... i'm sorry if you found that boring but maybe the other 42 will be more interesting! anyways thanks for the idea colleen!

so this is what it's like to be normal...

Sorry for the extreme lack of updates i've just been pretty busy and havn't had much to say about anything on here. Well since my last update i'm sad to report that my cat did pass away and he is happily burried in his favourite place, in which he used to spend most of a sunny day. On a happier note i also experienced a very fun Canada day with all my friends :) it was definitely eventful lol. other than that i've been working a ton and hanging out with the usuals. We went to the drive in one night which is something different and it was a lot of fun. Except for the fact that i was eaten alive by misquitos, so badly that the pharmacist suggested that i go to the E.R to get some stronger medicine because i had an allergic reaction to some of them and some of them were on my one leg :S. So that was interesting. We had some fires and hung out at the beach as well.... a very exciting sarnia summer awaits us.

moving along... if you're wondering what my title is about i actually have some colour on my arms. and for those of you who do not know... i could possibly be conisdered albino. See i never change colour except a little bit on my face and my arms actually look like a darker shade of white...maybe its just the lighting but someone at work told me i looked tanner than usual...
woot!

So for the next couple of weeks i don't really have anything planned except for working and hanging out with my hommies! Maybe we'll road trip one of the days go somewhere new and exciting lol... or maybe we'll hang around sarnia because that's the coolest place to be. It hasn't even registered yet that next year i'm going to be in grade 12.... it's just such a weird concept.. i mean i have to leave next year... i have to choose a university... i have to pick a career... it seems so surreal. oh well so be it growing up... ttyl!
